The retail super giant needed a versatile solution not only to educate its customers about the available products, but to encourage loyalty among their existing clients. Developed using Microsoft® Surface® 1.0, we took full advantage of the object recognition capabilities to make learning about Internity’s products an all-encompassing and effective sales experience.
The product catalog is explored on screen through a rotating carousel of featured products, with the specifications, photos and videos at the user’s fingertips – including 3D manipulable views. Up to five products can be compared simultaneously, and related items are suggested to increase upsells.
We integrated custom loyalty cards into the application to store individual users’ history and make recommendations. This streamlines the sales process and makes checkout incredibly simple with the shopping cart linked to each loyalty card. The application also featured a Bing™ powered map populated with Internity’s store locations and helpful information.
